A firm believer in “Paying it forward”, Alisha supports her community by donating gift baskets to many local schools, children clubs and charities for fundraising events! Our baskets include a gift card to Alisha’s Photography Studio. We have seen excited recipients put these gift cards toward beautiful portrait items. Some of the charities we have supported are; Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, WTHS Project Graduation, Police Unity Tour, Rutgers Camden NJPIRG, Stockton College Walk for PADD, WTHS AFJROTC, St. Baldrick’s, Washington Township Chamber of Commerce, Gloucester County 4-H and many more!
PPA Charities – Celebration of Smiles
In the photographic industry, photographers take pictures of people smiling. But what about those who are born without a smile? Alisha LeDonne Photography joined together with the Professional Photographers of America Charities to promote “Celebration of Smiles Day.” This national fundraising effort will benefit Operation Smile, a worldwide children’s medical charity dedicated to help children and young adults born with cleft lips, palates and other facial deformities. Each year more than 5,000 doctors, nurses, and dentists, donate their time to this incredible organization. Every three minutes a child is born with a facial deformity. One in ten will not survive to see their first birthday. Those who do survive often live in isolation and pain. For every $240.00 we raise one child will receive the gift of a life changing surgery. At our studio’s April fundraising event we were able to raise $525.00 to donate to Operation Smile! Thank you to all of our wonderful clients for participating with this awesome event!
Career Day Guest Speaker
I have had the honor of guest speaking in many middle schools, high schools, and my college, Antonelli Institute. When speaking to the younger students I often ask “How old do you think I am?” The answers are usually comical. When I tell them my true age their expressions usually drop. They realize this could be them in X amount of years. Suddenly the mind set of a career they would like to pursue doesn’t look that far away. Encouragement, direction and a plan of action is what I like to leave the students with. All with lot of fun of course!
TWP Makes the Cut – Pantene Beautiful Lengths
Alisha has the privilege of participating with the annual hair donation event, TWP Makes the Cut. Organized by WTHS alumna Brianna Bogacki. This event supports “Wigs for Cancer” for women through Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths and their partnership with the American Cancer Society. Pantene has donated 24,000 free real-hair wigs to the American Cancer Society’s wig banks, which distribute wigs to cancer patients across the country. At the TWP Makes the Cut event, girls donate their ponytails. Friends and family members help cut off the girls ponytails first, then the stylists from Lillian James Salon give the girls and new look for their shortened locks. Timmons Barber Shop is on hand for the boys head-shaving fundraising to support the St. Baldricks Foundation. Alisha donates her photography talent to capture the before and after photos of every donor, as well as shots of the emotional moments in between. The images are posted on social media for the participants to share with friends and family. It’s an incredible afternoon to see the community pull together for a worthy cause.
Washington Township High School $500 Scholarship
Washington Township High School alumna Alisha LeDonne proudly announces the establishment of a $500.00 scholarship to support her community. Her dream has now become a reality; however, she understands the financial struggles of attening college and would like to help defray some of their costs. Applications must be a graduating student from Washington Twp. High School who desires to continue their education at a 2 or 4 year college, trade or technical school and intend to enroll as a full time student in the academic year following high school graduation.

Washington Township High School Last Dance
Project Graduation is an all-night, drug and alcohol free celebration held at Dave and Buster’s in Philadelphia which offers a safe alternative for graduates of Washington Township High School to celebrate their graduation. Statistics indicate that one of the greatest risks for teenagers is graduation night. Project Graduation is an expensive program that relies on contributions from businesses, parents and fundraisers throughout the year. Alisha LeDonne Photography is proud to support this effort by donating a monetary donation and a gift basket for an annual fundraiser. Alisha also donates her photography skills by taking portraits at the Father/Daughter, Mother/Son Dance aka The Last Dance. We are thrilled to support a program that brings senior year to a
safe and fun ending.
